great news, there is an opportunity for me to go to thailand and help with their healthcare system through medical missions! ill most likely work with the rural regions where healthcare is limited. i really hope it works out for me. if i can go, itll be for about a year, which is pretty crazy.
hope all is well with you miss kim.
Hi,
I am an immigration lawyer in Miami, FL researching the current political climate in Nicaragua. Specifically, I am very curious about the incidence political violence in Nicaragua, especially in the Matagalpa Department and in the Esquipulas area, but any information would be useful. If possible, I would be very interested in speaking with current or very recently returned Nicaragua Peace Corp volunteers.
If you have any information on these topics or if you have any ideas of possible people to speak to I would love to hear from you. Or, if you know of any volunteers in the Matagalpa Department that you could refer me to, or anyone who has witnessed or heard of incidents of political violence anywhere in Nicaragua, I would be most appreciative. Or if you have any thoughts on other individuals or organizations that might have information on these matters that would be a tremendous help too.
I’m planning on traveling to Nicaragua in late December to follow up with any information I can collect in advance. Thank you in advance for any help you might be able to provide.
